Starworks is SUSF’s youngest project and aims to develop a propulsive self-landing vehicle to compete in the Collegiate Lander Challenge. Starworks are working in collaboration with SULRE to develop a 2.5kN liquid rocket engine with throttle and thrust vectoring capabilities which will be tested at Race 2 Space.

The vehicle structure, electronics and Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) system will be designed by our students. These along with the engine’s capabilities will mark several firsts for SUSF and come together into our most advanced vehicle yet.
