Supports the President and committee to ensure smooth operations, coordinates meetings, and helps translate ambitious ideas into reality.

Keeps track of all the ongoing projects, making sure that all the teams have a straightforward plan and goal in mind throughout the year.

Aero/Astro Engineering
Manages SUSF's finances, handles budgeting and sponsorships, ensuring every pound maximises our shareholder value and value for our members.

Our engine team, working with Starworks, will engineer an engine to take to the Race2Space competition meanwhile the rest of the team will be continuing with Comet1 project from last year. We will be aiming to have a static fire and have it ready to launch by the end of the year.

Cosmo, HPR

We give students experience of designing, simulating, manufacturing and launching large solid rockets against other universities in the annual MachX competition.

Garan, Electric Propulsion

We make thrusters designed for theoretical space operation. These thrusters produce very little thrust but are very fuel efficient. All experience levels are welcome to learn and take part in creating such thrusters.

Nathan, Turbomachinery

The project aims to develop a pump and turbine assembly for the turbopump Palermo. This is designed to be a gas generator compatible with our own previously built and tested Ceres 1 engine, which was designed to reach up to 8kN of thrust.

Godwin, Mars Rover
Aero/Astro Engineering
The Mars Rover Team designs, builds, and tests rovers for competitions like the UKSEDS, Olympus Rover and European Rover challenges while tackling real-world Mars exploration challenges. All members will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in design, electronics, programming, and testing.
